Position Overview: We are seeking a self-motivated and committed mental health clinical therapist to provide counseling for a fast-growing private practice. The counselor/psychotherapist will be responsible for providing individual counseling/psychotherapy.

Job Requirements/Details:

  • Active Ohio license: LPC, LSW, LPCC, or LISW (Must be actively working toward independent licensure if currently LPC/LSW)

  • Position is Full-Time :30 hours per week with 25 clinical hours

  • Must provide availability at least 1 evening/week (4pm-8pm)

  • Position is an W2, hourly position.

  • Dependability is a must. We have a high expectation on reliable attendance.

  • Strong clinical skills are a must.

  • Candidate must be independent, driven, and collaborative.

  • Our practice is a mix of insurance and private pay clients, and our population is motivated.

  • Other professional opportunities may be possible in addition to clinical work (such as providing on-site EAP services at local, large businesses).

Key Details:​

  • Full-Time: 18 hours per week with 15 clinical hours

  • Schedule: Flexible weekday availability with two required evening blocks per week: One evening from 4:00–8:00 PM and One evening from 4:00–7:00 PM

  • Employment Type: W-2 hourly position

  • Support: Minimal administrative tasks—our team handles credentialing, billing, and marketing so you can focus on clients

  • Clinical Excellence Required: Strong clinical skills are essential

  • Ideal Candidate: Independent, driven, and collaborative
     

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field (required)

  • Active Ohio license: LPCC or LISW

  • 1 year clinical experience after completing degree preferred.

  • Commitment to clinical excellence and ethical care

  • Dependable, growth-oriented, and collaborative

  • Must have at least one niche market for counseling services

  • Experience working with adults required; experience with adolescents is a plus

  • Must be a team player and collaborate well with team members in support of our clients and community.

  • Demonstrate a passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping fellow team members grow and learn.
