Alcohol + Drug Assessments
In-person & telehealth sessions are available.
What is an Alcohol and Drug Assessment?
A drug and alcohol assessment is an opportunity to meet one-on-one with an therapist who will evaluate the nature of your relationship with alcohol and/or other drugs. You and the therapist will discuss biological, psychological, and social factors that may be impacting your use and abuse of alcohol and other drugs.
How Can This Help?

Assessments determine where the individual currently sits on a continuum between zero issues with substances all the way to severe substance use disorder. The assessment process consists of using various evidence-based instruments and conducting an in-depth interview with the individual.
Clinical assessments aim to provide a complete profile of the individual by exploring employment, family relationships, living arrangements, criminal history, medical and psychological history, any prior education about, use of, or treatment for alcohol and other drugs, and a review of the individual's responses on the assessment instruments.
