What is SPRAVATO®?
SPRAVATO® (esketamine) is a prescription nasal spray approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for adults with treatment-resistant depression and for depressive symptoms in adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) with suicidal thoughts or actions.
It offers a different approach to treatment by working on the brain’s glutamate system, which is involved in mood, learning, and memory. For some people, SPRAVATO® may help improve depressive symptoms when other treatments have not provided adequate relief.
Could SPRAVATO® Be Right for You?
SPRAVATO® may be an option for adults who are living with treatment-resistant depression—depression that has not improved enough after trying other antidepressant treatments.
Our psychiatric provider will meet with you to review your symptoms, treatment history, medical history, and current medications to determine whether SPRAVATO® may be an appropriate treatment option for you.
