Counselor Trainee
BIO
I am a licensed Counselor Trainee in the state of Ohio currently completing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Xavier University, where I also earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology while competing in Division I athletics. Dylan Gillis, LPCC-S, is my clinical supervisor.

I enjoy working with a wide range of clients, with a particular interest in adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, stress, depression, and questions of identity and self-worth. I am especially interested in how everyday patterns like sleep, relationships, and daily habits impact overall wellbeing.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I aim to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, while gently exploring the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I see therapy as a partnership–you are the expert of your own life, and I'm here to listen and to walk alongside you as you find your way forward.

I draw from person-centered, humanistic, and strengths-based approaches, while also taking a holistic, whole-person approach.

At the core of my work is the belief that people are not broken–they are often responding in understandable ways to the conditions they’ve been living in. Therapy can be a place to make sense of those patterns, reconnect with yourself, and feel truly seen.

I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become. -Carl Jung
