Laura Roetgerman, LCPC
Founder/Director of Operations
Laura is the owner and the Director of Operations for the center. She received her degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology – Chicago. Prior to that, she attended the University of Cincinnati, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Laura is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). Laura currently specializes on providing ADHD Coaching, Consultation to area businesses and individuals, as well as Video Counseling. She is also an experienced speaker and workshop leader.
Area of Focus:
Her areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, postpartum depression/anxiety, stress and anger management, relationship conflict, grief and loss, ADHD, and family stress. In addition, she is an experienced psychoeducational consultant and has experience working with individuals of all ages in various settings, such as community mental health centers, schools, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and private practice.
Laura believes that therapy works best when it is tailored to the personality and the individual needs of each client. Rather than relying on just one of the many modern approaches to psychotherapy, she pulls from several disciplines, including solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and mindfullness based therapy, which she believes yields faster and longer-lasting results. Laura is a compassionate and empathetic psychotherapist, dedicated to helping her clients reach their optimal level of well-being.
